The path follows the coastline and offers stunning views of the sea, as well as the surrounding mountains. The route is very accessible, starting at Llandudno pier, and returning there upon completion.
Fortunately, there are a number of shops selling ice cream and other treats right next to the pier; so you’ll be able to reward yourself when you complete the walk.
The Great Orme Inner Circular Walk – 10.5 km up and around Great Orme
Now you’ve already walked around the Great Orme, fancy walking up it? If cable cars and trams aren’t your style, then this 10.5 km circular walk represents your best way up to the top of the Great Orme. After 343m of elevation gain, you’ll enjoy hard-earned views out across Llandudno Bay, and Snowdonia National Park.
Little Orme and Angel Bay – A 6.6 km loop for exploring Llandudno’s east side
So far the Great Orme has been getting all the attention, but what about its little brother?
The Little Orme and Angel Bay Walk is a beautiful, easy hike that takes you along Llandudno’s promenade, up Little Orme, and down into the cosy shores of Angel Bay. The trail is well-marked, and it's very popular with locals. It’s much easier to do than the walks up Great Orme – if you’re looking for a way to connect with nature, but don’t want to exhaust yourself in the process, then this walk is perfect for you.

If you want to climb a mountain in Snowdonia, but don’t quite have the stomach for an epic ascent up the likes of Snowdon, then Conwy Mountain is the perfect place to start.
